way, there are plenty of easy green lifestyle changes worth considering that
not only nurture the environment, but fatten your bank account as well.

energy to more than 3.1 million customers in the Carolinas and Florida, conserving, creating and renewing energy
becomes a top priority. This year, Raleigh-headquartered Progress Energy will
celebrate its 100th anniversary and invest approximately $4.7 million in energy

Saharra Coffee and Tea Almost Open

Located in the old Steak-Out building at 702 W Peace St, Saharra Coffee and Tea looks poised to open. While the exterior hasn't changed much--new paint colors and a fountain beside the street-facing entrance--the interior has been re-designed to better suit the new business, a coffee, tea and hookah bar. Aside from the hookah pipes, which sit on nearly every one of the wooden tables, Saharra Coffee and Tea will feature Lavazza-brand espresso and coffee as well as assorted teas.
According to employees, The Hook Up Marina Bar and Resort, located at 520 St. Mary's Street, will be closing Monday, August 18. The restaurant, which served fresh seafood in a lake-and-beach-inspired decor, will be the fourth business at this location to close shortly after its opening. [read more]

RALEIGH—TeamSTELLAR (Space Technology for Exploration, Lunar Landing, and Roving), which includes Dr. Andre Mazzoleni, Richard D. Dell, Jr., Grayson Randall, Dr. William Edmonson, Gordon Jeans, Dick Dell and Jeff Krukin, is pursuing the Google Lunar X PRIZE. The Google Lunar X PRIZE is a $30 million international competition to safely land a robot on the Moon by December 2012, travel 500 meters over the lunar surface and send images and data back to Earth.
